bathymetry
Bathymetry data describe the ocean and sea floor below water level. It is collected using sonar, and mostly by federal programs mostly NOAA National Ocean Service. Bathymetric data is less detailed than LIDAR, and stitching Bathymetry to digital surface elevation models requires interpolation (for example USGS 2020 Topobathymetric Model of Puget Sound).
