dam removal
Historically dams were constructed for water diversion and power generation without regard for impacts on fish migration or Fluvial Processes. Dam Removal is increasingly pursued for the purpose of restoring Fish Passage and normative Fluvial Processes and to reduce the Effects if Stream Temperature on Salmon.
