the ecosystem guild/site steward apprenticeship
The Site Stewards enable Field Stations. The Stewards have the knowledge, skills and abilities to access partner resources and assemble, lead, and document the work at a field station.
A very important goal of the field station is to cultivate more site steward teams that can create more field stations, This goal affects how we organize our work. We ask, βwhat can make this work healthy and fulfilling for a site steward?β Through making site stewardship healthy and fulfilling, we create the potential for unlimited expansion. To support cultivation of site stewards we break down the practice into a set of skills we can all learn.
There are three roles in an effective Site Steward Team:
