Marshall-Hansen Campus

left|400px The combined campus of Marshall Middle and Hansen Elementary schools encompass 36 acres of public land on the west slope of three hills that mark the hydrologic center of the Green Cove Watershed. The site was graded for the schools and sports fields on glacial till, creating a water shedding landscape. Two or three flow pathways drain though the Gold Crest and Evergreen Pointe neighborhoods into Grass Lakes Nature Reserve which is one of three large wetland units that form the headwaters of Green Cove Creek.
