Chehalis River Basin Land Trust
The Chehalis Basin Land Trust (CBLT) is a small, nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to the Protection and Restoration of ecosystems within the Chehalis Basin in southwest Washington State. Through land acquisition, conservation easements, and habitat restoration, CBLT preserves critical riparian corridors, Wetlands, and forested areas to support Biodiversity and improve watershed resilience. The organization operates with a limited staff and volunteer network, leveraging partnerships to enhance conservation impact. By mitigating habitat loss, improving Water Quality, and addressing Flood Hazard Management, CBLT contributes to the long-term ecological stability of the basin, ensuring sustainable land use and environmental integrity.
