FLARE was a regularly scheduled informal staff brainstorming session involving NOAA, PSP, and UW, facilitated by TNC to explore issues related to ongoing overlapping efforts in floodplain management, including:
Floodplains by Design Coordinated Investment Climate change research Skagit Climate Science Consortium Puget Sound Action Agenda Floodplains Implementation Strategies supported by NEP
It was disbanded in 2023. Many functions are continued under the stewardship of Floodplains by Design (FbD) and its NGO facilitator Bonnevillle Environmental Foundation
