Regional Fishery Enhancement Groups
Statewide, 14 regional fishery enhancement groups were created by the Washington State Legislature. Seven are within the Salish Sea watersheds. Each group has base funding, administered by WDFW, however each group has a different focus and level of development, based on decisions of local leadership, and how they fit into their local restoration community.
